Onong Resort, Siladen Island

Celebes Divers operates two PADI Diving Resorts in North Sulawesi. They began operation in 1996 with Mapia Resort and in 2002 they opened Onong Resort located on Siladen Island. Their international staff are fluent in German, English, French, Italian and Spanish.

Onong Resort is situated on Siladen Island, on a white sand beach, within Bunaken National Park, 1 hour by boat from Mapia Resort located on the mainland of North Sulawesi. This friendly resort has 7 cottages with A/C & en-suite bathrooms (with hot water) & 4 rooms located on top of the dining room (these 4 standard rooms share 2 bathrooms). The house reef is a typical fringing reef, and after the flat reef the wall falls down almost vertically and offers great diving and good snorkeling.


Dive Packages offered are typically two guided boat dives within the Bunaken National Park.

(** One unguided house reef dive is free during daylight hours if you have purchased two (2) dives that day.)

Onong Resort offers a good mix of Italian & Indonesian cuisine.

As of 2008 NITROX is available at the resort.
