This is a 4- 5 hour tour that begins at your hotel and brings you a bit closer to the culture of a small city in Papua. We first proceed to the local market where vegetables & fresh fish are sold by street vendors-the open air vegetable market is a real treat, we guarantee you will see one or more veggies or food products you never saw before. Great photo opportunity!
Then back into the vehicle and a short ride to the largest Chinese Temple overlooking the port of Sorong, where everyone will be briefed on the history of this beautiful landmark. All persons are allowed to enter the temple where photos may be taken.

From the Chinese Temple we proceed to the only handicraft store in Sorong where you can choose from Koteka (you will have to ask what this is or look up on the Internet, you will be surprised), face masks or stone artifacts and even if you don't buy it's a fun look.
The last stops are shopping opportunities depending on what you like, we will accompany you to Aneka Batik shop where you can get a man's shirt or ladies top in traditional Papuan motif and if you like we can stop at the local supermarket and go through the best t-shirt selection in Papua.
Back in the vehicle and we make our way to a local restaurant for lunch.
