Mimpi Indah Resort Bangka – Draft

Mimpi Indah Resort is a boutique-style eco-dive resort located on the Island Bangka, just off the northern coast of North Sulawesi. Set along a 500-metre white-sand beach and surrounded by tropical nature, the resort offers a peaceful escape away from mass tourism, with some of the region’s finest diving right on its doorstep.

With a strong focus on sustainable island living, Mimpi Indah operates largely off-grid and makes extensive use of solar power, natural materials, and locally sourced products. The small-scale setting and relaxed atmosphere make it particularly suited to divers and travellers looking for a quiet tropical getaway.

The Resort

Mimpi Indah has three beachfront bungalows, giving the resort an intimate and personal atmosphere. Built using natural materials with traditional Indonesian and Toraja influences, the bungalows feature comfortable king-size beds, private bathrooms with hot showers, and spacious verandas overlooking the tropical surroundings.

The resort also has two custom-built wooden dive boats and a private jetty, making it easy to explore the waters around Bangka. Small dive groups and personal attention from the dive team add to the relaxed experience, while three meals a day are included as part of the all-inclusive stay.

Activity

As a PADI dive resort, they offer the full range of PADI courses from Open Water Diver up to Dive Master, and even some specialties.

Directly in front of the resort is a beautiful house reef with lots of fish and critters. This is the perfect place for snorkeling or diving. The dive sites are between five and forty-five minutes from the resort.
