Bunaken Oasis Dive Resort & Spa

Bunaken Oasis Dive Resort & Spa

Bunaken Oasis Dive Resort and Spa is a brand new luxury boutique resort. Located on Liang Beach on Bunaken Island, the resort is approached from a private jetty that crosses the seagrass from the edge of the Liang beach lagoon.

The centre piece of Bunaken Oasis is a 23m fresh-water free-form infinity pool with waterfall, where guests can relax, swim, enjoy a cocktail, or just enjoy the panoramic sea views.

The Rooms

Bunaken Oasis offers 12 large (70sqm), beautifully-appointed villas, including one 2-bedroom for families, and one “double decker”, a two storey configuration ideal for families with older children or friends travelling together.

Every cottage is equipped with air-conditioning, a modern indoor bathroom, and a balcony with sea view. Internal facilities include a seating area, dressing area, hot and cold water dispenser, mini-fridge, Krupps coffee machine, safe and plenty of electrical points.

The cottages are also provided with re-usable drinking bottles, dressing gowns, slippers and a hair dryer. All of the toiletries are made from Indonesian grown organic ingredients.

The Dining

In the multi-level chill-out cocktail bar, guests can enjoy cocktails, fine wines, and spirits before adjourning to Oasis panoramic restaurant serving gourmet Asian and international cuisine. When not diving or relaxing by the pool, guests may enjoy relaxing or reading in the Minahasan style long house, where tea, coffee and snacks are always available.

As a commitment to conserve the nature, Bunaken Oasis is the first resort on the island to install water makers complete with ultra-violet water treatment, providing drinking water all around the resort. No more single use plastic bottles. In addition to the water dispensers in the cottages, all the public areas are equipped with hot and cold water dispensers, and where guests may re-fill their drinking bottles.

The Dive Centre

Bunaken Oasis’ state-of-the-art dive center has been designed with the underwater photographer in mind, and features an air-conditioned classroom, large camera room with specially designed camera stations. All PADI courses from Discover Scuba to Dive Master are available.

Their fleet of dive boats comprises several traditionally-styled wooden boats, complete with fresh water showers, toilet, and a sun bathing deck; and a fiber-glass 17.5m catamaran with the additional benefit of catering facilities. The catamaran is ideal for larger groups, or for visiting more distant dive sites, such as Bangka and Gangga islands. Tailored diving trips are available upon request. Free Nitrox is privileged to those qualified to dive with enriched-air.

With a limit of 6 divers on each wooden boat and 10 divers on the catamaran, and a maximum ratio of 4 guests to a guide, Bunaken Oasis ensures every guest can enjoy the space and comfort of the boats.
