Lokon Volcano Trek

Duration: approximately 7 hours -- Departure AM

This is soft adventure at its best!! We depart Safari Tours Office or your hotel heading straight through Tomohon. Arriving at the base of Mount Lokon we begin the 2-hour trek to the crater's edge. At the present time we do not go beyond the crater which is about half way to the summit. From that vantage point look out over the village of Tomohon.

After this magnificent hike we stop for lunch at a shore-side restaurant on Lake Tondano.

Announcement: Please note that on Saturday, May 24th fuel prices in Indonesia were increased by 30% ( both gasoline and diesel). Unfortunately this has caused us to raise our rates on land excursions. Although this is a hardship of sorts, we hope that the decrease in the fuel subsidy program and the reallocation of these funds will be used to improve the sectors of education and health care thereby benefiting all persons in Indonesia in the long run.
