Welcome! Komodo Resort, Indonesia is where you can enjoy a level of service, remoteness and tranquility rarely found anywhere else on the planet. Home of the world’s most pristine reefs, Komodo National Park offers what many claim to be the “best diving in the world.”

Komodo Resort is located on the western beach of Pelinta Cape on the small island of Sebayour in the Komodo Archipelago. Sebayour overlooks the Flores Sea, near the Lintah Strait, which divides Komodo Island from Rinca and Flores. The resort is only 300 meters from the renowned Komodo National Park & 11 miles west of Labuan Bajo. Their location makes it the perfect place to dive and explore the terrestrial and aquatic areas of the park.

Diving Center and Boats

Komodo Resort is a PADI Diving Resort and the Sebayur Diving Centre offers courses up to pro level in English, Italian, French, Spanish, and Indonesian.

Their daily dive trips are operated with three purpose built wooden boats of 14 and 17 & 21 meters in length with a stern platform and a total transport capacity of 8, 12 & 16 divers respectively.

Diving

Starting from the easy walls of Sebayour Kecil, which are only 5 minutes away from the resort, to the spectacular dives of Manta Point (45 minutes away) & Castle and Crystal Rock (70 minutes away) you will certainly enjoy some of the best diving that Komodo National Park has to offer.

Snorkeling

Snorkelling in Komodo can be really a great experience. There are a number of amazing snorkelling sites, starting just a short distance from the resort.  Tatawa Besar hosts one of most beautiful coral gardens in the archipelago while Manta Point gives, even the snorkeler has the opportunity to view these magnificent creatures.  Snorkelers are always accompanied by a motor boat, and upon request, by a guide.

Accommodations

The 16 deluxe bungalows blend perfectly with the surrounding landscape, thereby enriching the guest’s experience.  The buildings are constructed of teak wood that is either recycled or comes from conservation controlled plantations. The bungalows are distributed on a 360 meter stretch just a few meters away from the beach and guarantee total privacy for the guests. Each bungalow is 42 square meters, making them very comfortable for long term stays and the large veranda on the front of the bungalow allows for great views of the ocean just meters away.

All the bungalows have air-conditioning, mini-bar, safe-box, hot water showers & 24 hour electricity.

Excursions from Komodo Resort

The Komodo Resort strategic location allows a number of daily excursions:

• 50 minutes boat ride: Rinca tour where we can find the Komodo dragons.
• 25 minutes boat ride: Mawan Island with its white beaches.
• 45 minutes boat ride: Kalong, where at sunset an incredible number of Flying Foxes (Bats) darken the as they fly away to search for food in the Flores forests.
