Sanctum Una-Una Dive Resort, Togian Islands

Sanctum Una-Una Dive Resort is an eco-resort on a private Una-Una Island in Togian Islands area, Central Sulawesi – Indonesia, which is a place with minimal consumption of natural resources to still make a home in the middle of the sea. The ecosystem is still in balance, taken care by the people of Una-Una. There is no question that Una-Una dive is one of the best in Togian Islands.

Everybody at the Sanctum doing their best to make sure of the guests’ well-being and that they are happy. All team efforts are made to keep the resort like a family place. They believe everybody should and could enjoy nature and be responsible in the use of resources. With the same energy use for 1 person in the North America, they could utilize power for 20 hours, air conditioning, and hot water for 30 people here. Internet is available as well.

Accommodations

Deluxe rooms have king size bed, private bathroom with warm water shower, towels, fan, big sea front terrace, hammock. Standard rooms have towels, fan, nice terrace, hammock, and shared western bathroom with shower.

Dining

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included beside coffee, tea, and drinking water. All dishes made mainly using locally sourced products. Simple, tasty and healthy meals with the right drinks would perfectly treat every guest in the Sanctum.

Diving

Togian Island Sanctum Una-Una offers 4-5 dives per day. Small groups would be guided with maximum 5 divers to 1 guide ratio. Most of the dive sites are 5-10 minutes boat ride away from the resort, giving longer dive times provided by three small speedboats.

Pelagic and macro lives are easily found. From eagle rays, dolphins, pilot whales, and full of schools of fishes like jackfish, barracuda, rainbow runner, skipjack tuna, dogtooth tuna, emperor fish, big grouper, etc. Several macro sites are infested with ornate ghostpipefish (up to 20 in one dive), pipefish, frogfish, leaf scorpionfish, cuttlefish, different nudibranches, and seahorses. One of the best dive sites–The Jam–is right in front of The Sanctum, featuring an amazing tornado of barracudas with white and black tip reef sharks.
